The Startup Pitch Day β Bangalore Tech Edition 2026 is an electrifying single-day event where 20 of India's most promising early-stage technology startups compete for investor attention, strategic partnerships, and life-changing prizes totaling βΉ1 Crore in value. Hosted at the prestigious NASSCOM Innovation Hub in Whitefield, Bangalore β India's undisputed startup capital β this event is a crucible for ideas that could redefine entire industries.
Bangalore is home to over 12,000 technology startups, more than any other Indian city. It produces more unicorns per square kilometer than almost any city outside San Francisco. The startup ecosystem here is unique β fueled by deep engineering talent, a culture of risk-taking nurtured by returning NRI entrepreneurs, and a maturing angel and venture capital ecosystem that has deployed over $8 billion in the past five years. This is the city where the next big technology company will be born, and this pitch day is where you witness it happening.
The pitch day operates across three elimination rounds. In the morning, all 20 startups deliver a 5-minute pitch to three separate panels of judges. Each panel consists of two investors, one industry expert, and one Netfranex ecosystem partner. Based on these pitches, 10 startups advance to the afternoon semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, selected startups have 10 minutes to pitch plus 10 minutes for Q&A with a combined panel of 9 judges. This round tests not just the pitch quality but the founders' ability to think on their feet, handle tough questions about market size, competitive moat, unit economics, and technology differentiation. Five startups advance to the finals.
The final round in the evening features full 15-minute pitches followed by open Q&A sessions open to all attending investors. The audience β which includes over 50 active investors β also gets to vote, with audience votes counting for 20% of the final score.
